- Toes in the Water
The Big Red Fleet Company has just been asked to do a pilot study for the water utility company - Severn Trent; This follows on from our work with Veolia Water Services.So, just dipping our toes in the water at the moment.Still it might help us clean up a bit after our work with Infinis who have most of their workforce based on Landfill sites across the UK.Always varied - always professional!
- The Big Red L Company is not Red Driving School!
The Big Red L Company has been trading since 1992, we were a little annoyed some years ago when Red Driving School was formed and since then we have often been confused with them. However, on 16th February 2010 The Red Driving School, part of LVG, was placed into administration and is currently up for sale. (latest news is they have found a buyer) We want to assure our staff and customers that The Big Red L Company and The Big Red Fleet Company that we doing well and expect 2010 to be a positive growth year.
- The Big Red L Company - Gold Franchises
Late in 2009 we introduced our Gold, Silver and Associate franchise packages for driving instructors.We simply split Kent and South East London into 50 areas, each with 2 to 4 post codes each with approximately 60k to 80k in population. Our existing driving instructors in Kent and South East London had first choice and we've since added 4 more. We now have 19 either sold or under offer which is excellent.Our confidence in meeting the needs of ADI's in Kent is very high and we hope to develop a further 11 driving school businesses during 2010. - The Big Red L Company welcomes it's latest 4 instructors
We are pleased to welcome Michael Stephenson to work alongside us in the Thanet area. Michael is based in Margate and says he is really looking forward to helping students gain the freedom of the roads quickly and efficiently. Also just joining us in the Tonbridge / Sevenoaks area is Simon O'Connell who has been a driving instructor in the area for 5 years. He chose us as franchise partner simply because of our professionalism in all areas. Here, close to head office in Folkestone, we now have, fresh from 3 years with the AA David Mastin and last but not least is Chris Whitehead who has been working as an associate trainer for several months; He finally decided we were a good bunch and took out one of our Gold franchises as did the others. - The Big Red L Company is not Red Driving School!
On 16th Feb 2010 Red Driving School and Red Instructor College were placed into administration with the aim of selling the company.We understand that many people who have paid money for ADI training will be feeling very nervous. At this time it is our understanding that they will honour their training commitments.The Big Red L Company has for many years been conducting 'rescue' packages for PDI's needing a little extra training support, we will continue to offer our expertise and have a range of options that can really help.
